The GMC 2.5-ton CCKW truck affectionately known as “Jimmy”, was designed in 1941 and widely used during WWII for everything from supply convoys, troop transport, water tankers, dump trucks, and even fire engines.

In Allied Assault, they are mostly used for carrying supplies and troops. Like they did in the war, they show up everywhere. Though they had the option of having a machine gun mounted on the truck for protection, none of the Allied Assault trucks are equipped with this kind of firepower.
